WISEF (Western Idaho Science & Engineering Fair), in partnership with Micron

Each spring, the Idaho STEM Action Center and its partners proudly host 3 regional high school science and engineering fairs for grades 9-12th across Idaho. Students present their findings at EISEF (Eastern Idaho Science and Engineering Fair) in partnership with Idaho National Laboratory (INL) held at Idaho State University, WISEF (Western Idaho Science and Engineering Fair) held at Boise State University, or NISEF (Northern Idaho Science and Engineering Fair) held at Coeur d’Alene Resort. Each regional fair awards over 50 medals/certificates including the Bearden Award a $500 cash prize for females in computer science, and also the chance to attend and compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in May (all-expense paid).
